The Economic and Social Research Foundation

The ESRF is an independent not-for-profit Non-Governmental research think-tank established in 1994. Its primary objective is to strengthen capabilities in research, policy analysis and development management, provide consultancies in socio-economic arena and enhancing the understanding of policy options among its key stakeholders. ESRF is currently implementing its 6th Strategic Plan (SP) which runs between 2016 and 2020. The SP focuses on seven research themes as Inclusive Growth, Employment and Industrialization, Governance and Accountability, Globalisation and Regional Integration, Social Service Delivery and Social Protection, Natural Resources and Environment Management, Knowledge Management and Social Innovation and Implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). ESRF is governed by the board of trustees consisting of 10 members from various sectors.
